Privacy
Last updated October 24, 2026. Covers godgle.vercel.app and the GODgle browser extension.
The short version
No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is sold. When you ask a question, it is sent to our server and to OpenAI to find passages and write the answer. We don’t keep your questions.
What happens to a question
- Your question goes to GODgle’s server (hosted by Vercel), which sends it to OpenAI’s API to find relevant passages and write an answer from them. OpenAI handles API data under its own API data-use policy.
- GODgle’s code does not store your question. Our server logs record how much AI processing each request used, not what you asked.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and the page address) for a short time to keep the service running. A question asked through a GODgle search page address (…/search?q=…) appears in that address.
- Some answers include links to articles or videos. To make sure a link is real, our server visits that page first; that visit does not include anything about you.
The browser extension
- It runs only on Google search results pages, where it adds one button.
- Nothing is sent anywhere until you click that button. Then it sends only the search question from the page address to GODgle, as above.
- It does not read your browsing history, the rest of the page, or anything on other sites. It stores nothing on your computer.
Not for emergencies
GODgle is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or thinking about suicide, in the US call or text 988, or call 911.
